The Eagle Rodeo has been a cherished tradition of Eagle history since 2001. It originally started as part of the Eagle Fun Days, an annual celebration of summer held by the Chamber of Commerce. Eagle Rodeo became its own entity in 2011 and is part of the ranks of the PRCS (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association). Within a few years, the rodeo outgrew its location in downtown Eagle and decided to move to Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.
